Education & Early Career
Dr. Konstantinos H. Makrygiorgis graduated from the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.
He completed his military service as a physician in the National Guard of Cyprus, at the 106 Military Hospital in Nicosia. He was later appointed as a rural doctor at the General Hospital of Pyrgos, Ilia.
Residency & International Training
He began his surgical training at the “Agios Andreas” Hospital in Patras and continued as an assistant in the Plastic Surgery Clinic for two years.
He then moved to the United Kingdom for advanced training:
- Boston Pilgrim Hospital – United Lincolnshire Hospitals (General Surgery) under Mr. Agarwal, Consultant in Colorectal Surgery
- Bradford Royal Infirmary – Plastic and Hand Surgery Department
- Leeds General Infirmary, under Mr. Nick Rhodes, Mr. Ivan Foo, and Mr. Andy Williams
During his time in the UK, he specialized in:

He completed his specialization in Plastic Surgery at the Plastic Surgery Clinic and Burns ICU of Thriasio General Hospital in Elefsina, gaining valuable experience in:
