Neck Lift: Procedure
The neck lift is performed under general or local anesthesia depending on the extent of the issue and typically lasts about 3 hours.
The surgeon makes incisions behind the ears, extending to the hairline. In some cases, an additional incision is made under the chin. Through these incisions, the excess skin is removed, and fat is sculpted to reshape the area.
The procedure ends with very fine sutures for minimal scarring.
