Moles (Nevi): What Are They?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Moles, also known medically as nevi, are small, round spots or marks that appear on the skin. They are usually brown or black, although their shade can vary depending on the individual.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Moles are the result of a benign overgrowth of melanocytes, the cells responsible for producing melanin in the skin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
